Trick #1. Turn the text into Bold, Italic, and many more

This feature is quite popular now, but still, there are a number of people, who are not aware of it. You can turn your text into bold, italics, and strikethrough. To highlight the text of the messages, you need to type the words in a certain format.

To turn the word or sentence from simple to bold, you need to put an asterisk sign(*) right at the beginning and at the end to make it bold.

Just like turning the text into bold, to turn the words or sentences into italic, simply put Underscore (_) sign, the entire text or the sentence will turn into italic.

Similarly, put tilde (~) sign to strikethrough the word or the sentence. You can also turn the word or sentence into monospace by just putting three grave accents at the beginning and at the end.

Trick #2. Keeping unknown parties away from adding you in the groups

There are a number of instances when unknown parties adding the number of WhatsApp users in the random groups. It's basically spam to add WhatsApp users into unknown groups which tend to lose your personal belongings.

WhatsApp has updated its feature to prevent its users from getting into spam.

To avoid getting added into the random groups, just follow these simple and quick steps

open the of WhatsApp> Account> Privacy> Groups

on clicking on the Group tab, three options will be displayed there. You can select 'Nobody' or 'My contacts' against 'Everyone'.

Trick #3. Lock WhatsApp with fingerprint

WhatsApp is known for its features that change the experience of the user, enabling biometric authentication for iOS and Android beta apps.

To use the feature in iOS, tap on Settings> Account> Privacy> Screen Lock>, then select the option Touch ID/Face ID and choose the time accordingly.

For Android users, they have to install the beta version to get access to the feature, then follow the above-mentioned steps.

Trick #4. Find out, who you talk mostly

In today's life, there is a number of persons whose friend list is long, and you chat with them regularly, but there is someone special in everyone's life who you talk mostly and uses your data consumed by sharing media on WhatsApp, you can also get an idea of whom you talk more on WhatsApp Messenger or which contact uses the maximum storage.

To find out, open Setting> Data and Storage Usage> Storage usage and select the contact. On the next screen, you will see, how much storage has been used by the contacts.

Trick #5. Request an Account info

You can ask WhatsApp for your account information and settings. As Facebook and Twitter provide the same feature to their users, WhatsApp also provides the same features, you can request WhatsApp a ZIP file but it does not include your text messages.

To get your account information, follow the steps

Open Settings> Account> Request account info, then tap on the Request report. It will take around two to three days to get your report and if you delete or re-register your WhatsApp account, then the request will be canceled.

As WhatsApp will provide the data in the ZIP file, you can not open the file in WhatsApp, but you can access your file on your PC.

Trick #6. Sending chat logs

WhatsApp gives accessibility to its users to back up their chat history on the cloud. As WhatsApp, allow you to send the chat logs to the third person in case you want to send a particular chat log to anyone. You can send the chat log through Email. Follow the below-mentioned steps

Open Settings> Chats> Chat history> Export chat, then you can select the group or the contact whose chat history you want.

After selecting the desired contact chat, WhatsApp will ask you if you want to include the media or you want only the text and emojis. Always make sure to keep the file size in check. Once you have finished the step, now select how you want to share the file. The file will be turned into (.txt) format if you select the Email option.
