P Chidambaram Arrested in INX Media Scam Case by CBI from his residence Jor Bagh, Delhi in the Night

Chidambaram was arrested by Central Bureau Investigation(CBI) on Wednesday
night from his residence in Jor Bagh, New Delhi after he made a
dramatic appearance at the All India
Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters. P Chidambaram was caught by CBI after
he appeared at a press
conference almost 24 hours after going "incommunicado" in the wake of
the Delhi High Court turned down his anticipatory bail plea in connection with
the INX Media scam case.
P Chidambaram is now in the Headquarter of CBI. After minutes of his appearance, CBI and
ED grabbed P Chidambaram at his residence as the officials of CBI scaled the wall of his
residence to gain access.

The court denied the prevenient bail plea to P Chidambaram, he appears to be the "kingpin" and "key
conspirator" within the case and desires to be interrogated
in custody for the investigation.
The court said in
the INX Media Scam "classic case of money laundering". P Chidambaram
failed to get any relief from the apex court.
Officials said that the team returned to the CBI
headquarters and discussed with senior officers the future course of action.
Later
on CBI had also visited P Chidambaram house to affix notice on the gate, and the same is
mailed him as well.

the court "His bail was rejected today
but what was the urgency for the ED and the CBI to haunt him tonight?" he
asked
